หลายครั้งที่พบผู้ป่วยมาด้วยอาการไอเรื้อรัง แต่ผล CXR อยู่ในเกณฑ์ปกติซึ่งอาจคิดถึงสาเหตุดังต่อไปนี้ครับ
Intrathoracic
-Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
-Bronchial asthma
-Central bronchial carcinoma
-Endobronchial tuberculosis
-Bronchiectasis
-Left heart failure
-Interstitial lung disease
-Cystic fibrosis
Extrathoracic
-Postnasal drip
-Gastroesophageal reflux
-Drug therapy (e.g., ACE inhibitors)
